Welcome to the Love Languages App. We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our application. Important: We do NOT collect, store, or have access to any personally identifiable information such as your name, email, phone number, or address.

Data We Collect

We do NOT store any personal data on our servers. All quiz-related data remains exclusively on your device:

• Quiz responses: Stored ONLY in your browser's localStorage - never sent to any server
• Theme and language preferences: Stored ONLY in your browser's localStorage
• Anonymous navigation data: Collected by third-party services (Google Analytics/AdSense) - see below

Cookies and Local Storage

We use localStorage to save your quiz progress and preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers (we don't have servers that store user data). Third-party services (Google Tag Manager, Analytics, and AdSense) may set cookies for analytics and advertising purposes.

Analytics (Third-Party)

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how users interact with our application. Google Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated data such as: pages visited, time spent on site, general location (country/city level), device type, and browser. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not have access to any personally identifiable information through these services.

Advertising (Third-Party)

We display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history across websites. This is managed entirely by Google - we do not have access to your browsing history or personal data. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) or through your browser settings.

LGPD and GDPR Compliance

Although we do not store personal data, this application respects the principles of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Brazil) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - European Union). Regarding third-party services (Google), you have the following rights:

• Right of access: Request what data Google has collected about you
• Right of rectification: Correct data through your Google account settings
• Right of erasure: Request removal of data through Google's privacy tools
• Right to opt-out: Disable personalized ads in Google Ad Settings
• Right to object: Block third-party cookies in your browser settings

Your Rights

Since all quiz data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete this data at any time by: clearing your browser's localStorage, using the 'Reset' function in the app, or using your browser's 'Clear site data' feature. For data collected by Google services, visit your Google Account privacy settings.
